In this practice we will be exploring Warrior 3 under a few different lenses. Be ready for a little bit of yin, a dash of mobility, a half a cup of pattern and repetition and a whole lot of using your imagination. Have a good time!

This yin practice begins the exploration into warrior's one, two and three. Please follow this practice up with joint mobility (warrior).

In this yin practice we explore the idea of finding the yin in the yang and the yang in the yin.

This practice invites the practitioner to start to move more into the joint mobility needed for sage pose 2. You will use blocks and straps to create scaffolding to hold the shape allowing the body time to restore.

This pose is dedicated to Sage Koundinya, who was said to be a great scholar and have an abundant amount of faith in himself. Mentally, we will focus on having faith and trust in ourselves, as we put the pieces together—in a physical manner—to embody Eka Pada Koundinyasana II. This yin practice is meant to be the building blocks to create a strong foundation to our peak pose and self trust and confidence.

In this week's pattern and repetition, we take all that we have learned over the month and assemble the pieces in an order from simple to more complex, repeating the pattern, to find wheel.

One of my favorite practices! How many ways can you find your wheel on a chair? Make sure your chair is sturdy before using the chair. And have a great time in your exploration.

This yin practice introduces and explores the joint prerequisites needed for urdvha dhanurasana or wheel pose. Be ready to investigate overhead flexion, wrist extension, thoracic extension, hip extension, and core engagement. And stay tuned for the next 3 installments—all exploring wheel pose.
